Luxor’s Iconic Temples Get Major Restoration and Tourism Upgrades

The head of the Restoration and Archaeological Projects Sector, Mr. Moamen Othman, has said that final design plans for the projects are about to be complete. About the implementation, he said that they are scheduled for May and August due to low tourist traffic in Luxor. During these months, the temple’s current exit gate will manage the entrance as other gates will be temporarily closed.

The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut in Deir El-Bahari, located on the west banks of Luxor, includes the upgrade of the visitor center.
