From being picked up at our hotel (Wwhich was 30 mins out of town!)....all of the tours arranged, our accompanying guide ( who allowed us to specify times for tours etc....starting very early in the morning) the drivers were lovely....the cruise ship (Sonesta....something, can't remember)....the food, the staff....just totally everything....to when they dropped us off at our hotel, honestly it was wonderful.....I would totally use this company again

We traveled with Nile cruisen on the Concerto Plus in June 2026, as two young women. I’ll separate my review into the different areas of the overall experience. The agency: I overall found the experience of working with Nile cruisen very smooth. From answering my questions, payment, and coordination - Nile Cruisen was very helpful. I would’ve appreciated more feedback or recommendations in the process of selecting the boat. The guide: Mohammed was our assigned guide throughout the journey. He contacted us before arrival to ensure we would be picked up at the right time. He also helped us coordinate our itinerary to ensure we made our flight as we had an earlier flight than originally expected. His explanation of Egyptian history was very clear and down with such passion it kept us engaged even at 4:30 AM. He was respectful and patient with us throughout the whole journey. He warned us about traps and was transparent with us in where and where not to shop. He even stopped for buying us sweets as I had mentioned it was on my wish list to try knafeh in Egypt. A true representation of Egyptian hospitality. Mo was the highlight of our Nile cruise experience. I would absolutely recommend Mohammed! The boat: We chose the Concerto Plus based on some comments and content online. It overall looked exactly like the pictures. Our experience was ok/fair for not expecting luxury. The food options were few and overall did not meet our expectations. The rooms were spacious but the linens/sheets felt old and rugged. The AC in the room was not cool enough as we traveled in late June. Some spots looked old and not super hygienic. Overall the staff was cordial.

We are a family of four from Colombia (mom, dad, and our two young adult children), and we spent four days with Ihab during our Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Even though 3 of us speak English, Spanish is our native language, so we needed a spanish speaking guide. Ihab speaks spanish very well and is a very cult person. He was knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to answer our many questions about Egyptian history and culture. What we appreciated most was his positive energy and enthusiasm. He made every visit more interesting and enjoyable without ever making us feel rushed. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend both the company and especially Ihab to anyone visiting Egypt. Thank you for helping make our trip so memorable! 🇨🇴🇪🇬

Fizemos um cruzeiro pelo Nilo, de Aswan a Luxor, com a Nile Cruisen, e a experiência foi fantástica do início ao fim. O nosso guia, Moh, foi simplesmente excelente. Sempre disponível, incansável nas explicações e com uma enorme capacidade para tornar a história e a cultura egípcias fáceis, interessantes e divertidas de compreender. Fez toda a diferença na nossa viagem. O barco Sonesta Moon Goddess estava impecavelmente limpo e muito bem cuidado. A comida era ótima, com bastante variedade, e todos os funcionários foram extremamente prestativos, simpáticos e atenciosos durante toda a estadia. O único aspeto menos positivo foi a questão das gorjetas, que acabam por parecer quase obrigatórias. Sendo portugueses, não estamos tão habituados a esta cultura, pelo que nos causou algum desconforto. No entanto, percebemos que faz parte dos costumes locais no Egito e não afetou significativamente a nossa experiência global. Recomendamos vivamente esta experiência a quem queira descobrir os tesouros do Nilo com conforto, excelente serviço e um guia de grande qualidade. No, at Nile Cruisen we do not charge anything for initial quote requests. After you finalize the booking, only then do you make payments for the selected Nile cruise itinerary.
Ideally, if you are planning to travel to Egypt during the winter months, booking 3–6 months in advance is recommended. As this is the peak tourist season, booking early gives you more options and a better choice of cruises for your travel dates.
