Finland Presidnent explore the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt

During the official visit to Egypt from the Finnish side, Dr. Alexander Stubb, the President of the Republic of Finland, and his delegation had a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids area in Cairo. They were accompanied by the Ministry of Education and members of the Ministry of Culture and Monuments.

They were welcomed by the Director General of the Museum Authority at the Grand Egyptian Museum, who explained to them about the museum building, its galleries, and its archaeological treasures with Tutankhamen’s golden mask. He then accompanied them on a tour of the museum, during which the museum’s Public Relations Department gave them a detailed explanation of the museum, its rooms, and its exhibition concept. The guided tour included the outer courtyard, the main atrium, the Grand Staircase, and the galleries of King Tutankhamun.

The President of Finland and his delegation expressed their admiration for the museum, praising its unique artifacts and magnificent collections, and highlighting the exceptional exhibition concept and excellent presentation. After they visited the museum, the President of Finland and his team headed to tvisit he Pyramids of Giza, where they were welcomed by the Director General of Antiquities of Cairo and Giza. he guided them on a tour of the archaeological site, highlighting its history, major archaeological discoveries, and ongoing excavations.

The Finnish President expressed his admiration for the greatness of the Great Pyramid, and he kept asking about the construction of the Pyramids, the transportation of its huge stones, and the time it took to build it.

He described it as a marvel of engineering and architecture. He also took commemorative photographs at the site and expressed his desire to return to explore the entire archaeological area.
