Nile cruise trip from Cairo to Luxor – 6 days

Arrival and Welcome: Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will find our representative waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to assist with passport, control, customs, and luggage collection. Then, you will be transferred in a modern air-conditioned tourist car to the hotel.

Icons of history: We start the tour immediately (depending on the arrival time) by meeting your local Cairo guide and visiting the Giza Pyramids Plateau. We will stand before the greatness of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, meditating the precision of the Pyramid of Khafre and the simplicity of the Pyramid of Menkaure.

Panoramic Moments: We move to the panoramic era to take the best souvenir photos of the three Pyramids together, and here you can try a camel ride (optional).

Guardian history: We conclude the tour by visiting the Sphinx temple and the Valley Temple, belonging to King Khafre, where his body was mummified.

Traveling South: After breakfast, moving to Cairo Airport for traveling to Luxor, upon arrival, our representative will accompany you in a private car to the pier.

Checking into the cruise: arrive at the 5-Star Nile cruise, check into your cabin, and enjoy an open buffet lunch featuring a variety of international and Egyptian dishes.

Giants of the East: In the afternoon, we visit the Karnak temple complex, the largest place of worship in the ancient world. We take a tour among the towering columns of the “Great Hypostyle Hall,” then move to visit the beautiful Luxor temple, which is connected to Karnak by the famous “Avenue of Sphinxes”.

Night in Luxor: Dinner onboard, enjoying an entertainment program (music or belly dancing) and overnight stay in Luxor.

Valley of the Kings: After a delicious breakfast, we cross the Nile to the West Bank. Exploring Wadi Al Melouk (Kings Valley), where the tombs of the great Pharaohs are carved into the mountain, decorated with vibrant inscriptions and colors that have remained unchanged for thousands of years (entry ticket includes 3 tombs).

The powerful queen: visit Hatshepsut’s temple at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece carved into the rock, then stop for taking photo before the Colossi of Memnon.

Nile journey: Return to the ship for lunch and sail toward Esna, enjoy the unique experience of crossing the Esna lock and watching the water level rise and fall, then continue sailing toward Edfu.

Tea time: relax on the sundeck at sunset with a cup of tea and cake while watching fishing villages and green farms along the Nile banks.

Edfu adventure: Early in the morning, we use a” Hantour” (horse-drawn carriage) to reach the Horus Temple in Edfu, which is the most complete and well-preserved Egyptian temple.

Sailing to Kom Ombo: Return to the ship for sailing and have lunch as we head toward Kom Ombo.

The dual temple: visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, divided into two halves (one for the crocodile god Sobek and one for the falcon god Horus), and visit the fascinating Mummified Crocodile Museum.

Arrival in Aswan: The cruise continues its journey to Aswan.

Egyptian night: After dinner, get ready for the “Galabeya Party “ where the crew and guests wear the traditional Egyptian dress for dancing, fun, and photos

Modern and ancient engineering: After breakfast, we begin a guided tour in Aswan by visiting the High Dam, the engineering miracle of the 20^th century, then visit the Unfinished Obelisk to know and learn how the Pharaohs used to cut massive granite.

Love temple: conclude the journey by a romantic visit to Philae Temple, located on an island in the middle of the Nile, reached via small motorboats.

Return to the cruise: Now taste delicious international and oriental dishes for lunch.
