Day 1: Arrive in Cairo

Upon your arrival in Cairo, we will pick you up from the airport and send you to your hotel, so you can check in and relax. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in your hotel to recover from your long flight and prepare for your upcoming sightseeing tour of Egypt.

Evening: Enjoy sunset views from the terrace of your hotel.

Day 2: Trip to Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

On your second day, we will start with your tour of Egypt’s most famous landmarks, which include the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara.

Morning: Start your tour early, beginning at the Saqqara, a vast ancient burial site, considered Egypt’s oldest royal necropolis. Here you will find the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the world’s very first stone pyramid.

Afternoon: In the afternoon, you will go to the Pyramids of Giza. Here, you will find the Great Pyramid of Khufu, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
You will also explore the Pyramid of Khafre and Menkaure. Discover their unique features and learn about the architectural advancements behind the pyramids.
At the end of your tour, enjoy a delicious lunch from a local restaurant.

After the tour, we’ll send you back to your hotel so you can relax for the rest of the day.

Overnight: Cairo Hotel

Day 3: Gem Museum, Old Cairo, and Bazaars Tour

Morning: After having breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up to continue your tour of Cairo. The tour will start at the Gem Museum, which is the world’s largest archaeological museum. Here, you can find more than 100,000 artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun and the colossal statues of pharaohs.
After touring the museum, we will head to Old Cairo, where you can have your lunch.  While here, we will explore historic landmarks like the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Mosque of Amr ibn al-As.

Afternoon: Continue your tour at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Walk along the busy streets of Cairo’s most famous marketplace. Here, you will find colorful shops, coffee shops, an Islamic and more! When shopping here, try to bargain with shopkeepers to get a good deal.
If you get tired after exploring, stop at a traditional café and treat yourself to a cup of mint tea.

We will then take you back to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare yourself for your flight to Luxor the next day.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor & Begin your Nile River Cruise

Morning: On your fourth day, you will have to check out of your hotel early because you will be taking a short flight to Luxor.
In Luxor, your ship will be waiting for you to begin your 4-night journey. The cruise staff will assist you in checking into your cabin, and after that, you will be treated to a welcome lunch at the ship before your cruise begins.

Afternoon: You will then explore the East Bank of Luxor, where you will find the beautiful Karnak Temple. This temple is home to some magnificent statues dedicated to the god Amun.
At sunset, you will visit Luxor Temple. Witness the golden glow of the sun as it casts light over the statues and towering columns.
After your tour, return to your ship in preparation for dinner on board. Your ship will then start to sail the legendary Nile River.

Day 5:Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon

Over the next three days, your ship will sail the Nile River and take you to some of the most incredible ancient sites of Egypt.

Morning: On the second day of your cruise, your expert guide will take you to visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Egypt’s pharaohs. Here, you will find tombs that are beautifully decorated, featuring scenes from the afterlife.
You will also stop by the Temple of Hatshepsut.  This is a terraced mortuary temple built for Pharaoh Hatshepsut, one of the most successful female rulers in the history of Egypt.
Finally, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, where you’ll find the towering twin statues of Amenhotep III.
After your tour, you will head back to your ship for lunch on board.

Afternoon: Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing as your ship continues sailing along the Nile.

Overnight: Nile Cruise Ship

Day 6: Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple Tour

Morning: On the third day of your cruise, start your day with a visit to Edfu Temple. While here, check out the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, which is dedicated to the falcon god.
After you tour Edfu Temple, you will return to your ship for lunch. Then your journey continues toward Kom Ombo.

Afternoon: At Kom Ombo Temple, see the unique twin temple devoted to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. While here, you will also stop by the Crocodile Museum, which has fascinating displays of mummified crocodiles.
Return to your ship for dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening while your ship heads towards Aswan.

Overnight: Nile Cruise Ship

Day 7: Explore Aswan

Your cruise will end and stop in Aswan. We’ll take you on a tour to discover the highlights of the city.

Morning: In the morning, we will take you to the impressive High Dam, where you can go for a boat ride to the Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy a relaxing felucca sail around Elephantine Island before spending your final night aboard the cruise.

Overnight: Nile Cruise Ship

Day 8: Fly Back to Cairo

On your last day in Egypt, we will assist you in disembarking from your Nile Cruise ship.
– (You will have a chance to visit Abu Simbel temples in the early morning).

You will take a flight back to Cairo before finally taking a flight home.

  • The sequence of the tour may change according to the Nile cruise’s sailing schedule, but this will not affect any of the included visits or tours.
