04 Days - 03 Nights

Day 1: Welcome to Aswan and the Nubian Nile.

  • Welcome: Your tour leader will meet you at Aswan Airport or your hotel and take you to the Storia Dahabiya.
  • Sightseeing in Aswan: meet your guide to start with boarding a small motorboat to Agilkia Island to see the famous Temple of Isis.
    High Dam: A short trip to Aswan’s modern engineering wonder.
  • Check-in: Get comfortable in your fancy luxury cabin.
  • Lunch: Have your first fancy lunch on The Terrace (the sundeck) while taking in the views of the Nile.
  • Evening: enjoy the first night on board with a delicious dinner cooked by the master chef in Egypt.
  • Overnight on board.

Day 2: Ancient Temples & River Life.

  • Breakfast on the boat as it leaves for Kom Ombo; enjoy the scenery of the Nile.
  • Visit with guided trip the one-of-a-kind double temple at Kom Ombo. It is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god.
  • Sailing: Go back to the boat and start the beautiful sail north towards Luxor. The best part of a Dahabiya is sailing quietly without the noise of big engines.
  • Afternoon: Nile Dahabiyas often sail slowly to see the ancient sandstone quarries of el Silsla and rock-cut shrines that big cruise ships can’t get to, but only if the river is calm and the time is right. At night, sail toward Edfu.
  • Dinner: A fancy meal in The Salon or outside on the deck.
  • Overnight: Docked close to Edfu.

Day 3: The Story of Horus and the Esna Lock.

  • Morning with your guide: Go to the Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse-drawn carriage. It is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
  • Sailing: back to the boat to spend the day relaxing on the sundeck, swimming in the pool, or watching the farming villages and palm groves go by as you sail toward Esna.
  • Lunch: enjoy a delicious meal with the lunch on board while sailing to Luxor.
  • The Dinner: As you get closer to Esna, you can have a special Egyptian-themed dinner or BBQ on the deck.
  • Esna Lock: Cross the famous lock system, which is fun to watch from the deck.
  • Arrive Luxor: get the historical city of the world, the ancient capital of Egypt (Thebes), with an overnight on board.

Day 4: Disembarkation & Luxor West Bank Visit.

  • Breakfast: Final breakfast on board.
  • Disembarkation: Check out from the Storia Dahabiya in Luxor.
  • You will be transferred by private vehicle to Luxor Treasures to complete your tour.
  • Sightseeing (Luxor): start the guided trip with a visit Valley of the Kings: Explore the royal tombs of the Pharaohs.
  • Visit Hatshepsut Temple: The magnificent terraced temple.
  • explore Colossi of Memnon: Two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III.
  • Drive: to the east bank to visit Karnak & Luxor Temples on the East Bank if your flight/schedule permits).
  • Departure: Transfer to Luxor Airport or your Luxor hotel.

05 Days - 04 Nights

Day 1: Welcome to The Ancient Thebes (Luxor East Bank Trip).

  • Welcome with Assistance: You will be picked up at your hotel or Luxor Airport and taken to the Storia Dahabiya.
  • Lunch: While you’re docked in Luxor, you can have a gourmet lunch on board (in The Salon or outside on The Terrace).
  • Guided Trip to Karnak Temple: Visit the biggest religious complex ever built on the ground, which is known for its Hypostyle Hall.
  • Visit Luxor Temple: This beautiful temple is in the middle of the city and is best seen as the sun sets.
  • Dinner is served on board in the evening.
  • Overnight: Docked on the East Bank in Luxor.

Day 2: Explore the Pharaohs of the West & Sailing to Esna.

  • Breakfast is served on the deck of the luxury dahabiya.
  • Meet your guide to cross the Nile to see the Valley of the Kings (royal tombs), the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), and the Colossi of Memnon on a West Bank tour.
  • In the afternoon, sailing starts towards Aswan, and the boat heads toward Esna. This is a nice time to relax by the pool or have tea on the deck.
  • Esna Lock: Go through the famous lock system (this may happen in the afternoon or evening, depending on the line).
  • Evening: Cocktail Reception: A drink to welcome everyone and kick off the trip.
  • Dinner: Fine dining on the ship of the river.
  • At night, we docked near Esna or on a quiet island nearby.

Day 3: The Falcon God Temple & The Nile River Life.

  • Sailing: Early in the morning, we set sail for Edfu city.
  • Visit Edfu Temple with your guide: You can ride in a horse-drawn carriage to see the Temple of Horus, which is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
  • Sailing to Kom Ombo: Spend the day on the water. The best part of the Dahabiya experience is seeing farmers, water buffalo, and palm groves go by in silence.
  • Gebel el-Silsila (View from distance): Depending on the wind and the captain’s schedule, you might pass the old sandstone quarries of Silsila, where stones for the temples were cut.
  • Evening Trip: Go to the one-of-a-kind double temple at Kom Ombo Temple at night. It is dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus (the falcon god).
  • Dinner with a theme: Usually a “Egyptian Night” or a BBQ dinner on the deck or on an island nearby (if the weather is nice).
  • Overnight: docked near Kom Ombo or sailed toward Aswan.

Day 4: Explore The Nubian City (Aswan).

  • In the beautiful city of Aswan, wake up to the beautiful views of the sandy banks and granite rocks.
  • Sightseeing: Met your expert guide to start the trip by sailing to the island temple of Isis, which was saved from the rising waters of the Nile.
  • A trip to the High Dam, a modern engineering wonder, and Nasser Lake.
  • Visit the Unfinished Obelisk: Look at how the ancients carved huge granite obelisks.
  • Lunch will be served on board while you relax after the first leg of the trip.
  • Felucca Ride in the Afternoon: A relaxing boat ride around the Islands of Aswan and the mountain of Nobles.
  • Goodbye Dinner: A final gala meal on the Storia yacht.
  • For fun, you can watch a Nubian show or listen to traditional music.
  • Overnight: Docked in Aswan.

Day 5: Disembarkation in Aswan - Airport Transfer.

  • Breakfast: Final breakfast on board of Storia Dahabiya.
  • Check-out: Disembarkation and transfer to Aswan Airport or your hotel with end of our services.
